Lloyds TSB rates on the Classic Plus account are streets ahead, offering customers who do not already have a Lloyds TSB current account a fixed interest rate of 4.50% AER* on the first £5,000 of balances until 16th January 2005 when they:

• agree to pay in a minimum of £2,000 a month (if you agree to pay in a minimum of £1,000 a month you will still earn 3.83% AER* / 3.76% Gross*)

• log on to Internet banking at least 6 times every 3 months

• apply before 11th January 2004
